We are back with another #SoulBackPodcast episode. This week we interview Salaam Remi. the legendary producer has worked with everyone in the game from Nas, Amy Winehouse and Miguel. He also produced one of our favorite songs last year which is Tamia's "Leave It Smokin'". We pick his brain on his approach to R&B as well as discuss his chemistry with some of his collaborators. We also ask him about what it's like making R&B music in today's era. On our end we talk about new music from Tank, BJ the Chicago Kid and The Bonfyre. We also touch on the new direction that Tank has been going in with his music over the last few years and debate whether Urban AC radio is still needed for an R&B artist.
